Festival traders can wave goodbye to wet canvas!

Another innovative coach-build project from the workshop. A renowned vintage clothes trader contacted us with a brief a little different from our usual fayre! They wanted the ability to drive to festivals and international markets, and rather than spend time setting up marquees in the rain, they wanted to fling open the doors and be ready to trade. Built on an ex-military Leyland Daf 4x4 chassis, they wanted something tough and industrial looking. In light of this we adapted a 20ft shipping container and built some very hardy but lightweight aluminium steps for customers. As well as being the basis for a shop, there is also a “luton” area above the cab (which all folds up out the way to still allow the cab to tilt) in which weary travelling traders can sleep when on the road or at the festivals - making excellent use of the space and also keeping the shop secure 24/7
